Conception

I had unprotected sex on the 9th of July, took the morning after pill on the 11th and started a period on the 13th for 4-5 days of bleeding. I then began having unprotected sex on the 23rd of July frequently and have since. I have just found out I am pregnant. I have a weird cycle so I don't know for sure when I ovulated but doctor is guessing I am around 6-7 weeks from last period.  I then had an ultrasound today and the sonographer has said I am 5 weeks and 2 days. Is that from conception or including my last period? Do they add the extra 2 weeks in the scan? Is the extra two weeks to do with the egg growth without the sperm/before conception/sex?
