Will you be letting Your lo sleep in bed with you? And why ?

I work with kids. I see infant deaths all the time due to parents allowing their newborn to sleep in their bed. All it takes is one time and your sweet baby can be gone forever. The benefits are not worth the risks. Buy a cosleeper for the side of your bed! Much much safer

He will sleep in my arms. I trust my instincts as a mother and am a light sleeper as it is. I also found an article recently where one of the original SIDS researchers explained that cosleeping isn't actually linked to SIDS. I would post it here but this app makes it impossible to do so.

Absolutely not!  I am a nurse in the pediatric ICU and I have seen way too many babies who have died from being smothered by their parents.  I don't care how light of a sleeper people claim to be, it can and will happen to anyone and you have no one to blame but yourself for making your baby an organ donor.  In the county where I delivered, there have already been 7 infant deaths this year from co-sleeping and every single one of them could have been prevented.  To all mommies out there, please do not sleep with your baby in bed with you!

No. Way too risky in my opinion. Even if I didn't roll on her and trusted neither of us would, what about pillows? Also, I'd worry about my dog smothering her. Plus I don't want to risk it becoming habit.

I will not. We did that with our oldest child. She's 9 and she still wants to sleep with us. So this baby will be sleeping in his own bed

She will only sleep with me. We didn't buy a crib she has a twin bed for when she turns 18 months she can start sleeping in there.

My LO is 28 days old and she's only slept on my chest or in her mommaroo next to my bed. You have to do what's best for you and your baby no matter what the SIDS satiety a say!

Before having her i said no. After bringing her home she has been sleeping in her portable bassinet on our bed. With her getting up so frequently at night its so much easier being able to reach across the bed to get her rather than wall across rhe room or house! Once she starts sleeping a little more at night or outgrows her bassinet she will be put in her ceib in her room

Absolutely. That's what feels right to me and that's what I grew up with. The studies that link co-sleeping to SIDS are extremely flawed  so I have a hard time believing any research on the matter.

My son is almost 3 weeks and he sleeps in his rock and play at night but I put him in bed with me to nap for a couple hours after my husband goes to work. I'm a light sleeper though. My husband is not so that's why I wait till he's gone.
