i've never heard of a period causing a rash, but! i'm sure it's not impossable! 
one thing i know for sure because of person experience is, stress can cause rashes! sweat can too, i'd say if it doesn't go away by the end of your period see your PCP about it!☺️

It's never happened to me, but it's possible. It also may be a rash caused by something else. You can call your gyn if it's persistent and goes away with your period.
