Pelvic and vaginal pains at 31 weeks call doctor or no?

Hey yall, I am currently 31 weeks and 2 days prego with my second child. I have been having  pains all week and this morning I woke up and my vaginal area hurts so bad especially when I walk. I'm also having sciatic pains on my left side, but I know that's normal. Just worried about the pains in my pelvic and vaginal area and it feels like I need to go to the bathroom all the time. Like alot of pressure. Is this a sign of early labor or just stretching? and yes I am calling the doctor, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I would call if I were you, better safe than sorry! Over the weekend I kept feeling what I thought were braxton hicks contractions and a LOT of pelvic pressure for being only almost 34 weeks. Finally on Tuesday my belly felt so hard constantly that I thought it was better to call and just check. OB had me come in, turns out they were real contractions & I was 1-2 cm dilated and 70% effaced so they sent me straight to the hospital to get some medication to try to stop it since it's preterm. Seems to have worked. But I definitely thought they would say I was worried over nothing so I was SO glad I paid attention to my instinct and called anyway. Good luck with everything!!

I have pelvic pain, maybe hip pain. Especially with walking or bearing weight. I'm 32 1/2 weeks. Started at 30. Dr tells me it's normal. Don't feel normal to me tho lol

I was having the same issue at 31 wks told my dr and she said it was due to the babies head being down there and the stretching told me to walk more so it can stretch properly instead of getting stiff and hurting more. I was to the point I couldn't even walk but I did what she told me and it worked. I get some pains still around my pubic area when I lift my legs to put pants on or when I get up from bed/couch but I am now 32.5 wks and feel pretty good. Hope this eases your mind. 😋😁

Sounds like ligament pain to me and maybe your baby moved head down so there is more pressure on your bladder. Look up lightening crotch LOL. Always check with your provider if you're not sure.

I just posted the same thing like two days ago lol. I'm having all those symptoms too. I had my 32wk appt this morning and told my OB and she pretty much just said okay and moved into the next thing. Like it wasn't even a big issue. Didn't check me or anything. So idk. I guess it's just stretching and the body preparing for labor. This is my third baby now.

I'm 31.5 with my second and going through the same exact thing. Also I'm having Braxton hicks almost constantly if I'm standing. I've been drinking a ton of water and laying down a bit more but when I get up there's so much pressure. I'm going to talk to my dr monday when I go next.

30.5 weeks and the way I describe my vagina pain is that it feels bruised almost. Like someone went ahead and kicked me....idk
