Maternity clothes?

Hi ladies when did you start having to wear maternity clothes? What were/are some of your absolute essentials for a winter/ early spring pregnancy?

I bought my first pair of maternity jeans at 24 weeks pregnant. My must-have's all throughout the fall/early winter were: maternity jeans (one pair of skinny, one pair of boot cut), leggings, basic long sleeved tops, and long open cardigans. And unfortunately since my feet were so swelled, I had no choice but to wear crocs throughout my entire pregnancy.

Probably around 23 weeks. Just when I had to start doing the hair tie trick to my jeans. I didn't purchase any maternity shirts because I just wore my stretchier shirts throughout my whole pregnancy. (I also did not get that big in the belly area where I would need to purchase larger shirts) 
I purchased 1 pair of jeans, and three pairs of work slacks for my job. I also purchased two pairs of maternity leggings.

Honestly for future children since I'm now a stay at home mom id mostly just wear leggings. (Check out lularoe on fb comfiest clothes/leggings on the planet) and I might pick up some t shirts in a larger size from like jc penny.

I never wore them with mine! I also carried in the summer and not winter but ik that a jacket is def a must! Also try to fine some thick socks that will adapt to swelling(i didnt have this prob but better safe then sorry)!! I would highly suggest that if u wear boots that they dont have heels on them bc ur balance will already b off!!

I am 16 weeks and just started wearing them about a week ago...at least maternity pants. I probably could have gotten by a couple more weeks without them, but I am so much more comfortable now. I am going to make some of my bigger tops and flowing shirts last as long as possible. One thing I did get and will get more of it some light sweaters. I work at a law firm and I'm usually cold, but I have noticed at times now how warm I have been getting so I figured some light sweaters and long sleeve shirts would be great.
