I thought I knew
I've only been a "mom" for a week and I've already learned so much. I really thought I had all the answers until I became a mom.
I was dead set on a natural birth...how bad could it really be. After 36hrs of labor I gave in and had an epidural. The pain was unbearable and it was the best decision for me.
I was dead set on breastfeeding in fact I couldn't imagine why anyone would feed their baby formula. Day 4 my baby won't latch, my nipples are on fire, and my boobs are rock hard, and my baby is screaming because he's starving. I ripped open the formula and fed him. He was happy and I was happy. It's true when they say fed is best.
I'm sorry for every judgement I ever past on another mother because I truly thought I knew best.
