HSG was a breeze!
Had my test done this morning. The procedure itself really wasn't bad at all. It started like a basic Pap test. Then there was a pinching feeling when the catheter was inserted into the cervix. Once they injected the dye I had some major cramping but that lasted less than a minute. I've had minimal spotting afterwards and no cramping. I did take ibuprofen before going in. The good news is that my tubes were perfectly clear. The bad news is that my dr isn't sure about the structure of my uterus. I have a malformation. I was first thought to just have a septate uterus (which we were planning on correcting surgically). Now she thinks it may be bicornuate, in which case nothing can be done for that. Looks like I'll be having an MRI to confirm. Add that to the long list of things I've already had done!!
