Is it ridiculous to get a charm with a quote to commemorate a lost little one?

We lost our baby at 6 weeks 2 days...after seeing it's heartbeat  (our first pregnancy)...found out at 8 weeks. We are devastated. I was thinking about getting a simple necklace with a quote to honor our lost little one but people have said that's ridiculous because of how early we lost our baby. What do you think?

It's not ridiculous and no one can tell you how you should feel about it. Ignore them and do what you feel is right, do what brings you some peace. No matter how far along you are when you lose a baby it is heart wrenching- it's not just the loss of a child, it's the loss of everything you have dreamed and hoped for ever since that little line appeared! Sorry for your loss, look after yourself x

Do whatever you want! A loss is a loss no matter how early it happens. I have lost three (at 6, 9 and 13 weeks). I know how devastating it is. I'm sorry for your loss.

Not ridiculous. I was 12 weeks and baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. I got a necklace with a birthstone and the first letter of their name engraved on it. I got it from metal stamped memories. It helps me heal and remember my first child. It also gives me hope for my rainbow baby.

Don't ever let anyone tell you how you should feel about loosing a child weather it be at 6w or 40w it's still utterly devastating. I think it's a beautiful idea and your little angel would be so proud that you keep a part of them with you. I wear my daughters ashes in my urn necklace she's with me always I lost her at 15w it's the hardest thing I've ever been through x

My friend lost a baby at the same week you did . And you can ask her today and she will tell you how old she would be and her name was Lily . They did tests on the baby and it was a chromosome problem but they also said it was a girl .
