Peanutbutter while pregnant???

I heard that if you eat Peanuts or Peanutbutter while pregnant it can pass a peanut allergy to your baby?

Is that true or false? For those who have been pregnant and ate peanutbutter please comment!

I just ate 3 peanut butter sandwiches I'm 30 weeks. Cravings are something serious BUT I don't think it'll harm baby.

They used to say that but now they say to eat peanuts so is stops the baby being allergic lol my honest opinion eat what you want within reason you can now also eat runny eggs just avoid anything uncooked, prawns, shellfish, pate and salami

My mom craved anything with peanuts with my sister and she was born DEATHLY allergic. Doc says it has nothing to do with her eating a lot of it though.

I know someone that avoided all types of nuts while pregnant and now her daughter is highly allergic. I don't think there really is a link on whether or not you eat nuts while pregnant. But i guess i could be wrong.

I'm super allergic to all kinds of nuts/tree nuts. As is my sister! But my brother was not. Only correlation is that my mom breast fed me & my sister and not my brother. I don't think eating it during pregnancy will affect it. I think the rule is to not feed it to the baby once it's born until it's around a year old.
