Sippy cups?

Does anyone use a sippy cup with their 8 month old? What do you put in it? What brand sippy do you use? My daughter was jaundice (just a little) and when we left the hospital the nurse said never over water a jaundice baby... Does that mean back then or can she not have water now?

Yes!! My son loves his sippy, we use the playtex one, Avent one & cheap dollar store ones, I put 3 oz of water in them and he drinks the water or he'll just chew on the nipple of the bottle since he's teething.

My daughter now 9,5 months doenst understand how to use a sippy cup 😅. But she loves to drink out of a cup/mug/glass.

I let my eight month old have one every now and then. We had a munchkin 360 cup, great for their teeth! My two year uses it as well. I do expressed milk or just water. Babies under 6 months shouldn't have water at all, but a small amount is okay now!

We do use sippy cups. Sometimes for a formula feed to help him transition or sometimes watered down prune juice for constipation. We have a MAM brand one that he loves because it comes with a nipple similar to a bottle that helps them learn and a regular sippy nipple once their used to it. One other sippy is a NUK I think and it also came with the two nipples: bottle shaped and sippy shaped. Then we have 2 other sippy cup with just normal sippy cup nipples but he has a harder time drinking from those

My son is 8 months and we use a sippy cup nipple.  I put formula in it for his mid afternoon snack with 0.5 oz extra water. He loves it.  I use the Chicco brand nipple. Next month I want him to begun using a regular sippy cup level 2

We use nuby sippy cups. They  are great, especially at preventing spills. They are similar to a bottle which has worked great for us. We have tried different brands, but he did not like the mouth parts (dr. Brown, munchkin). I also like that you can take them apart and wash them well vs some of the tops that  an hold mold. We have also tried the mouthless cups and he isn't ready for that yet.

I buy apple and eve juices and dilute it if it's cold (refrigerated) or I add a few ice cubes and let it hang out while I feed him so it dilutes. I usually do about 2-3 oz of diluted juice.

My 9month old is EBF,her ped doesn't want me to offer water as long as she's bf...??she won't take a bottle so I'm a little worried about giving her a sippy cup

My 9 mo old loves the Nuk sippy cups. He has been exclusively breast fed and the Nuk ones are the only ones I can get him to drink out of.

I got my son the pura stainless steel sippy cup to stay away from plastics. He's been using it since 6 months. He never really used bottles since he's breastfed so it was easy. I give him water or watered down juice
