Group B Strep, did they also check for dilation?

I'm 35 weeks on Monday so my appointment next week my OB will be doing the Group B Strep test. I was just wondering if your OB also checked you for dilation as well. Thank you

Had my 35 week appointment day. They did the test and checked for dilation.

At my 36 week appointment the doctor asked me if i wanted checked when he was doing the strep b test.

Answer

I get checked out next week to see how much I dilated  and my strep b test came out negative.
