Grade III Placenta?

Question

I've been diagnosed with a grade 3 placenta. Doc said it can slow baby's growth and can cause him to have low fluid. He put me on extra monitoring & ultrasounds every 3 weeks (or more often if fluid begins to drop). Anyone else experience this??

I am currently being hospitalized for this as we speak I am 32w 4d and have been in the hospital for 8 days now. I came in after a doctors appointment because baby wasnt moving and although my midwife assured me he was fine through listening to his heartbeat she told me to still go to the hospital to get checked out. Long story short I go to the hospital they do a non stress test and baby fails also they tell me they he has heart decelerations and that's not good and then they hit me with and he only weighs 2 lbs 10 oz which shocked me because I've been doing everything right so why is he so small. So they transfer me to another hospital and admit me and are doing weekly dopplers (ultrasounds ) and have me on continuance monitoring... I just had a ultrasound this morning that the doctors may think is the reason why his fluid is low and he has heart dips and is weight restricted....they think that the umbilical cord is inserted wrong in the placenta it's suppose to be straight but mine is off centered they told me the name but I can't even spell it lol but im sorry for the long post I just thought I was the only one going through something like this I won't be getting out of the hospital no time soon but I wish u the best with your LO ✨✨
