Why do people keep posting faint lines/announcements?

Why do people keep posting faint lines/announcements? It clearly says in the rules that we shouldn't do this. Some of us have had a hard time TTC, and seeing this in this group doesn't help. I'm sorry. I'm happy for you. Post it in the glow announcements, or bfn/faint lines group, please. It's hard to see how many people are getting pregnant so quickly, when it's hard for others. Thank you in advance.

Because their probably just so excited they post it to make sure others see the line too and ask for opinions. You should never be bitter of someone else's blessing.

I sometimes find it useful to know- there is a lot of sharing of symptoms etc so knowing what worked/their symptoms makes this whole TTC thing less confusing.  I get your point that it would be heartbreaking seeing BFP on here and you've been waiting for your own.  Your post is a nice reminder to us all to be considerate to others TTC journey.
I really hate those posts listing all these symptoms and asks 'what could it be?' Or posts a clear BFP and asks 'is it positive'.  Stop fishing for the answer you already know!

I agree. There is a certain group for that and this group isn't it. I'm so happy for everyone who gets a positive, but when I receive a negative and I come to this group to read, the last thing I want to see is someone else with a positive test..

Some are just following up with confirmation that their faint and questionable lines were in fact positive. I appreciate that. Some women get two obvious, but faint lines, but really and truly aren't sure for whatever reason (many times they are new to ttc or soneon told them the line needs to be darker). I don't mind that. Some just don't read the rules or don't care about the rules. Sigh.

It took me 2 years to get pregnant and I had a lot of support from women in this group. When I got a test that looked maybe positive, but I also thought I was seeing things, I posted it because I wasn't sure. I got such great at support from the women who were following my struggle and journey

Im sorry that you feel that way, but in real life it's worse. Trust me! Anyways if you have had such a hard time to get pregnant and get pregnant one day I'm sure you would be so happy and want to share your faint line to the whole world. And after that another bitter person will say this same thing about it. Sorry but that's how humans are. I thing those women are new to glow and think they can post it anywhere. You should report those post not following rules.

I don't mind at all. Been trying eight months and still don't feel like pushing my frustrations on others. Honestly if I ever feel any emotion like anger or whatever at someone who posts their happy news in the wrong tab on a phone app, I'd have to work out what's going on with ME internally before I do anything else.
