Infertility due to Insulin resistance.

Has anyone with insulin resistance ever been told they can't conceive.? Was at the Doctors and She told me I may have insulin resistance and may not be able to conceive if this is the case which breaks my heart my little one is almost 2 and my husband and I are wanting another little one. Anyone know anything about this? (Doctors in my area are very trusted as they misdiagnosed people often)
