Did the pill affect your weight and body?

I want to go on birth control (the pill) but I keep hearing horror stories about how women gained 10+ pounds  😞

The pill didn't mess with my weight at all but it did mess with my breasts. It took trying so many different pills to find the right one for me that my breasts would get huge then normal and after so many times of that unless I have a bra on they sag like no one's business. :(

The pill gave me severe headaches. I had to stop taking it cause they got so bad I was taking ibuprofen every day, every few hours. I just felt like that was not safe to have to do.

Didn't affect my weight at all, or give me boobs (unfortunately) but I was an absolute psychonon the pill. It really played with my hormones and my overall mood. Safe to say, I stopped taking it a few years ago.

After I had my daughter, I lost all the baby weight, then I started the pill, and gained a few pounds lol..

I have done a lot of reading about the pill. A lot of people blame weight gain on the pill BUT the bottom line of what I learned when researching this was that the pill can make you gain weight but not 5lb or more. What research says is that women need to take responsibility for weight gain and not blame the pill. 
As for your question, did I gain weight, yes but I do not think it was the pill. I would like to blame it on the pill... But it wasn't. :)
