Nursery Issues 😰

Kade • 26 & Expecting baby #1. I live in a small town in Central PA. I like cats.
So my wonderful husband has been slowly trying to update things for our baby girl's room. One project was replacing the tiles in the drop ceiling. The day after he did this I went into the room to check them out and this unbearable smell overwhelmed me. It was hard to describe at first but after reading stories about drop ceiling tiles smelling it came to me---Vomit. The room smells like vomit. It's so disgusting. Apparently the tiles should have been aired out for 24hours prior to being installed. We used the same exact tiles in our kitchen remodel back in December. I have no idea what to do now to get the smell out of the room. I'd hate to throw away the tiles. They aren't cheap!! Anyone experience this before or have some advice?!
Anyone else remodeling the nursery/baby's room and having issues?!
