Traveling an hour away?

I'm currently 37 +6 and had plans to stay in a little town about 45 minutes away for the night and most of tomorrow. Completely spaced asking my doc about it yesterday at my appt. I should be okay being that far from my hospital right? No dilation and baby is stll high. I will say i am hoping for a vbac but a 45 minute drive doesn't seem too crazy if my water breaks or contractions start. What do you gals think?
