Discharge Dilemma

A few days ago, I was having mild irritation. I used a generic form of Monistat/Monestat cream until my symptoms went away. Today, my discharge came out a little thicker (it's been thick for a few days), and more yellow. I'm wearing bright blue panties, so I don't know if that's changing the color for me, or if I have an infection. Anyone?
