Anyone else dealing with sore/bleeding nipples? My 4 1/2 month old is nursing a lot more vigorously, and mama is suffering! We are waiting to start solids... skipping cereals and starting with fruits and veggies at 6 months. I just want to make sure her gut is ready. She sleeps through the night, so I know she's getting plenty.

I remember going through this with my son at a similar age (he's now 11), and we started with rice cereal. Now I've read that rice cereal isn't as good for them. Hoping this will pass and we'll get back to easy nursing again. I think part of it might also be that I've been sick and taking Sudafed. Just curious if any other EBF mamas are dealing with this too?
