Test again?

My period is 4 days late. I've been cramping off and on some bad cramps to nothing at all. No sign of period at all besides cramps. I took a test Tuesday and it said negative I took it in the middle of the day and barely had to pee. My period is already around 36 days apart so when it's late it's really late. Should I test again or wait cause I'm probably getting my period
