When do they induce😳

I'm pretty short and hoping to not go too far over (or go too soon of course)when do Drs normally induce?

I asked today. I'm so uncomfy. I'm 42, under 5ft, feeling huge. Unless there's a medical reason they won't induce before 39 weeks and only if conditions are favorable (cervix ready, etc)

I was induced with my first at 37 weeks due to a very high grade fever and at 39 with my daughter. The law requires to be at least 39 weeks in most states unless there is a medical reason.

Usually after your due date unless there is a problem. My sister was induced at 38 and 39 weeks for a blood disorder.
