Should I take a pregnancy test or just wait it out?

Hi! About 6 weeks ago, my husband and I decided to get my birth control removed (implant in my arm) because it was making me sick. I got the implant about a year in a half ago after our son was born. Well basically my period STILL hasn't come and is showing no signs of coming. We have sex about 3 or 4 days after I had the implant removed and we didn't know that we weren't suppose to. Should I take a pregnancy test or just simply wait?
