Took Morning after pill & now early period?

So I recently got off of birth control because of really bad side effects. Had an accident but took the plan b pill within that day. It's been 7 days since taking the plan b pill & I was supposed to start my fertile window today, but I noticed I started my period. Is this normal?

Yes, it's very common to have bleeding within a week of taking a plan B. They have all the information on their website if you didn't save the insert it came with.
