Where the baby should sleep

Question

We don't have a cosleeper or a crib mattress (the nearest store to buy one is an hour away and we haven't had time to grab it between our schedules.) I'm due in two weeks and the only thing I have for her to sleep in is a rock n play. I don't know what to do!

Babies can sleep and the rock and play (mines did) or with you in the bed (He did that to) before we bought him a bassinet and now he is in a crib.

Be careful of them sleeping in anything that wasn't meant for sleep like rockers and swings. Their head can fall and they can easily suffocate

Make sure whatever you place your baby to sleep in is flat it's bad for their spine to be upright. Have you seen the baby box where you get a breathable small mattress and it goes in a box that I highly recommend x

My son mostly slept in his swing or in our bed with for almost a year even though he had a crib of his own.. If you feel unsure of doing that, you can order a crib mattress online. I believe both walmart and target does free shipping on purchases over $50

I think a lot of babies sleep in rock n plays in the beginning beside your bed 😊

My son slept in a rock n play at the suggestion of his ped for 3 months.

We use a rock n play and she is almost 12 weeks! Plan to continue until 4 mos at least!

Can't believe so many people let there babies sleep in anything other then a flat mattress... that's crazy it's very bad for there spines. How can you have not got something for the baby to sleep in yet!?!?!
