Family who hates her kids pregnant again.

Ugh. I want a baby so badly and are only borderline financially ready. We're considering trying soon (for medical reasons) if our family are willing to help caring for the child while we're at work.
.
And this woman who has straight up said she hates her kids and abuses them (husband hits all of them the woman and the children-she ran away 2 years ago but decided to get back with the husband). We've called CPS many times but because there's no documented proof, they've not done anything.
.
And she's pregnant again with her 5th child. She didn't even want her 3rd or 4th children. In fact she refused to acknowledge it and only told family now (turns out she's like 20 weeks and refused to believe the doctors when they told her earlier on-and probably kept drinking and partying that whole time)
.
I feel like this poor child (all of them do) deserves so much more and I would take them in an instant if offered, although I wouldn't be able to afford adoption or anything like that. It's just so sad when so many of us want children but can't have them yet (because of physical/financial/biological setbacks) and other poor women don't want them but seem to be unable to stop. She says she was "on the implant" (I'm guessing like minera or similar) and if she really was doing everything she could to not have anymore kids I really feel sorry for her. All her kids are hellians because they have spotty discipline and confusing rules and on top of that seeing their mother, siblings, and themselves being abused.
.
Anyway, sorry for the rant. We were just going to ask my husbands grandparents if they'd be willing to help this past weekend and that's when we heard from his great aunt that this was happening. Then the whole weekend was all about people being irresponsible and having children outside their means, so we had to decide that it wasn't the right time to ask, even though we and they are totally different situations.

Poor mama, poor kids, poor us. It just seems like no one "wins" in this situation.
