Is it okay to bathe after a C-section?

It's been 13 days & my entire body feels soo site. My incision is very dry at this point & diwsng cause any pain. I really need to soak soo bad, any recommendations ladies or am I safe?

Agree with first comment... I've never had a C-section, but my sister has had 2 & always loved taking her long baths. Her doc told her to wait 2 weeks, so you should be good by now, especially if it's healed nicely. If I'm not mistaken, I think once she got the OK to take a bath she also put a little Epsom salt in the water to  help healing as well. Ask your doc if concerned, but I think the general rule is 2 weeks if there's been no complications with healing. Congrats on the birth of your baby!
