Do you like this name

So my husband and I agreed on the name Briella Rose for a little girl, it took us forever to agree on something! Well both sides of our family hate it, and they agreed that they wouldn't say anything if that's what we picked they'd of course love it when they associate the name with the baby. Well I figure if they don't like it there is a reason for it and I know it's my child to name what I want but I don't want her to have a "weird name" and if that many people
Dislike it then I should consider changing it. what are your opinions? We wanted something that wasn't a Brittany Ashley Rebecca type name since we grew up as Michael and Brittany with a million of us in our classes, but also a name that's normal.

My mom picked Cora and my grandma hated it! She said it was the ugliest names she's ever heard. She said about a year after I was born to know she think it's the most beautiful name she's ever heard. Sometimes you just have to do what you want.

Just remember that many people go with unique names so the original type names are becoming the unique...if that makes sense.

I like Briella it's different but I think it's pretty.. and growing up as a Brittany I feel your pain lmao I'm struggling to find a girl name is love. But I feel if u love it don't worry about them... I wouldn't and won't once I fall in love with a name lol

It's unique and pretty. If you two love it then you shouldn't change it just because your family doesn't like it. Even more so if their reason for the dislike is that it's an unusual name.

I voted no as in no you shouldn't change it. You guys love the name and I think your family will warm up to it. It's unique so they might just need to mull it over in their heads and hear it a few times to like it. :) I think is a cute name.

We have chosen "Brielle" with "Faith" as a middle name so, I love it! Great minds think alike 😉
