Left my husband

Well I left my husband today because I found him texting an old friend about his ex at first I wasn't mad I just wanted to know why he would want to know about her then he gets all defensive and he starts saying all these horrible things to be about my family me and my daughter I couldn't take it anymore so i left I am not an unemployed single mom again at 23. Do you ladies think I did the right thing please no negative I'm going through enough as it is
