She's here!!! Kennedy Jude was born August 26, 2016 at 4:22 am. She weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and was 19.5 inches long. I was admitted to be induced around 7pm August 25. Plan was to start pitocin low and slow, rest through the night then bump it up the morning of the 26th with hopes she'd arrive sometime in the afternoon. Pitocin was started, as planned, low and slow around 8:30. Around 11, my doctor made his rounds and checked and I was already 3cm! We made the decision to stop the pitocin and break my water to see what my body would do on its own. He offered an epidural and I said no to it and pain meds, per my plan. Around 2am, the nurse checked and I was 6-7cm. We called the birth photographer who lives an hour away to COME ON & family to let them know we were close and she would be here sooner than expected. Around 3:20 I was at 10 so started pushing. Pushed for an hour and she arrived at 4:22am!! We are so in love with our sweet girl 😍😍😍😍😍😍
