Do I have to bring my husband to the RE?

So I just scheduled my first RE appt for 9/9 and they're only open when my husband is at work... Will they force us to do a sperm analysis? They sell sperm count tests at Walmart now, and I know he's not going to be able to come with me hardly ever and it's the only appt they have for a long time.. Like November. Also, do they start clomid at your first visit? Unfortunately my insurance will only cover 3 cycles of clomid/iui so just curious when that happens and are they in a row? 3 seems like not nearly enough to work
