Is it disrespectful for a woman to hug your husband for longer than 5 Seconds?

Why are you counting seconds? You either trust your husband or you don't. Believe it or not, the woman hugging your husband isn't thinking about you while she's hugging your husband. She's thinking one of three things.
 
1) thank god for the support I'm getting, I really needed a hug
2) OMG I'm so excited to see my friend!
3) god his body feels great!
  
You can't control what other people do. You can control how you deal with jealousy. Trust your husband or don't, but placing blame/shame/guilt on the woman isn't going to get you anywhere.
 
And, at the end of the day, if you don't trust your husband, you have two choices. Either decide to look the other way or leave. But....You can't torture him over it.

One time this girl at my bf's old job was joking around  & was laughing and holding on to him for whatever reason and a hug would've been fine but she was like lingering and I was right there & I was like "you can let go of my man now" 😂 kind of a bitch thing to say but  at the time I was like okay this is slightly obnoxious

I had to hug my SO for 5 seconds to see how long this really was, practically speaking. I literally said three seconds into it, "Oh yeah...I'd kill a broad."  Unless it's family there is just no need for an embrace that long...barring a tragedy (death) or celebration (birth).

I don't mind hugs. But if you're sending like an inappropriate tone to it then ya it would probably annoy me. Someone tried to hang on to/hug my husband before (old high school friend, I think she was drunk). He literally practically pushed her away (not in an aggressive way) and introduced me. I trust him, how do I know how long people hug him when I'm not around?
