ear piercing for baby boy?

My son is 5 months old & my and my SO we're talking about piercing his ears. SO has his pierced & ive always liked them. I think my son would look so cute with them! I was just wondering how other people would feel about it.

I think that's a decision your son should make when he is old enough. If you want to dress baby like daddy, do so with clothing, don't poke holes in his ears.

Eh no. I think it doesnt look right on baby boys, makes them look a little feminine since all babies are chubby and round in the face. Ultimately your baby, your choice. Happy decision making!

When my 8 yrs old son was about a ur his father went n pierced his ears and when I found out I took them out continued to take care of his ears as if they were still pierced and thank God they closed. Now he is going to be 9 in January and he is asking me to get his ears pierced. I told him that if he can show that he can take care of himself without my help (getting up in the morning brush his teeth, wash up, make his bed) then maybe when he is 10 he can have his ear pierced. Your the momma he is your son you do what u feel is best for your son.

Personally, I wouldn't get my baby's ears pierced, boy or girl. But if you think it would be cute and your SO is on board, I don't see anything wrong with it. Just make sure he's had his shots and it's done in a sanitary way.
