You are testing too early. I know some women can get a positive 10 dpo, but 6 is too early. It takes 3-5 days I believe for the fertilized egg to implant. Try again in a week!

Implantation occurs between 6-12dpo. You may have not implanted yet, and even if you did implant at 6dpo it takes a while for the egg to start releasing HCG. Give it another week, and you should get an accurate result. ☺️ Good luck!
