Is it possible to get a 3 week old on a sleeping schedule?

Trying to get my baby on a sleeping schedule but im wondering if its possible at this age. Shes 3 weeks old. Did a schedule work for anyone?

My girls been on a schedule from the beginning: eat, play, sleep (all times have gradually adjusted as she's gotten older, but now they're consistent).  She has a morning, lunch and afternoon nap. Quiet house starts at seven the she gets a bath, eats and is usually asleep by 8:30-9. Sleeps until midnight or one, then wakes up again at 4:30-5. Obviously we have off days sometimes (growth spurts) but she's pretty much stuck to it. She's almost 9 weeks now.

The only way to time any kind of schedule is by feedings and that's if they're not going through a growth spurt, have an upset tummy or something else out of the ordinary like diaper rash. I time so our last feeding is bwtween 11pm-1am and she sleeps anywhere from 4-6 hours. I swaddle her in a Velcro swaddle for the last feeding so I can burp and immediately put her down. Last night is the first time I've laid her down still awake and she went to sleep on her own! Couldn't believe it. She's a month old today and we've been trying to stick to this since the beginning.

Too young for a schedule right now but babies catch on to routines. So start a routine and stick with it. It's not going to really work for a while but give it a few weeks and your little one will catch on. We started a sleep routine at 5 weeks and by 8 weeks she started sleeping through the night several nights a week. Now she's 15 weeks and a AMAZING  sleeper. We do bath time at 8:45, lotion rub down, Jammies, read a book, bottle or boob, crib. She's out within minutes unless she falls asleep eating.

It doesn't hurt to start/try- but don't expect it! I be heard that feeding around 10pm helps "condition" them to sleep longer in the night.

You can try and get her on a feeding schedule and that should help with sleeping. BUT at this point she may go through a growth spurt and eat more frequently. It's not recommended to sleep train till at least 6th months.
