Rude family.

I was at my brothers graduation party and was explaining gestational diabetes to my family since I don't see them very often. Then in walks my aunt (she's a nurse) I've never really gotten along with her. She said gestational? I said yeah, she said grandma had that when she was pregnant with me, do you know what that means ? I said what? She said you're gonna be diabetic later in life. I was mortified. As if i don't already feel bad enough. I should have told her that she was at risk for type 2 since her mom had it when she was pregnant with her. I'm not even overweight. She's pushing 250. This is why I avoid my family.. sorry I just had to rant I feel awful.
