Less fetal movement, 33 weeks

Kimberly • 1st time mom - Sierra was born 10/01/16
I'm 33 weeks 4 days and starting at 32 weeks 6 days my daughter's movements have slowed down. I still count kicks twice a day and get to 10 usually in 2-3 min but it worries me. She was extremely active weeks 28-32 and now she seems to only be active after meals and not for very long. Not only do I feel less movement, but they also seem weaker. I've been debating about going to the ER and getting her checked on but I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday. I really can't stop thinking about her and her wellbeing but I also tend to be a worry wart. Should I just make the trip or wait it out until Monday? Help fellow mommies to be...

I've had the same thing. For the past week or so (I'm 34 weeks now) I've noticed a decrease but still have enough movement to be ok. They're running out of space and it's just getting harder for baby to maneuver and kick as hard 😊

Yeah, I make sweet lemonade when I really want her to move. She's wiggling around a bit right now so I'm just going to hold out until tomorrow morning's ultrasound.

Girl trust me, sometimes I have moments of panic and I'll chug ice cold water just to feel something from her. Then I feel much better. But if you truly feel like something may be "off" it wouldn't hurt to ask and get checked out to give you peace of mind

Thank you for the reassurance. I'm probably just worrying too much but if I got so used to her dancing around and kicking me like crazy all day

My doctor told me the farther you get A long in your pregnancy you might not feel her has much is this is due to her getting really to come and because there is not A lot of room left in there for her to move around.... I say your fine....

I think it's pretty normal. Like pp said, they run out of room and the kicks don't feel as strong as they used to. I was so paranoid about counting kicks that I would have mini panic attacks if I didn't get 10 kick like every half hour lol. Now if baby wasn't moving at all for a good couple hours then I might be worried but I think baby is fine

I know it's so hard not to worry! I used to call the nurse line all the time lol, they always told me the same thing. Eat or drink something sweet, wait 20 minutes or so and lay on your side and do your counts. And every time I got to 10 within minutes. Hopefully you feel better after your appointment!

Im always moving around, especially since I started setting up for her and nesting but I try to pay attention. Yesterday I barely felt her but today she was a little more active. I can't wait for my appointment so I can stop stressing
