what type of formula?

My daughter is 3 weeks old and I am breastfeeding and also using some formula her pediatrician have to us. It's Emfamil Supplement.  She takes it very well and seems to enjoy it.  She also gave me the Emfamil Newborn. Has anyone ever used that? I've noticed that she will spit up more often after I've eaten something lightly spicy.  It's happened now 3 times because I've forgotten when ordering something. (I feel absolutely horrible about it). But she never cries during spitting up. So I know she's not in pain. Just going to eliminate that from my diet.

But any suggestions on which formula you have used and would recommend?

I asked the pediatrician and she said there's really no difference in formulas. They all have the same amount of nutrients the babies need. It just all depends on how your baby reacts to it. I know they have special kinds for supplementing but it really doesn't matter. I've been using a regular similac brand and we've had no problems with supplementing. It's more up to your baby than it is you lol

I changed formulas 4 different times and finally decided on enfamil gentlease.  My poor baby was getting acid reflux and was developing colic.  He would cry from 9-12 from all of them except the one I mentioned.  I called the doctor first to make sure it was fine.  Now he's a different baby.

I breastfeed and supplement with enfamil newborn and gentlease. My baby does great with whatever I feed him as long as he is being feed.
