tampons n sh*t

okay so i've had my period since 7th grade and i've always used pads. I'm going into senior year and i still use them. Recently i tried tampons but i just cannot get them in. I've gotten a tampon in twice but it always takes so long to the point where i have to give up. My friend was telling me that some girls have slanted uteruses ??? idk if that's true but it would make sense as to why i can't get it in after trying to many different angles. I'm just so sick of using pads and everyone else my age is normal and can use tampons. any explanation as to why i'm different would be lovely
