Keeping up with hubbys spending

After being together for 6 years we have finally gotten a joint account so he can finally have his own card and banking app to know what we have " to spend". I finally got tired of him questioning where the money is going. Why HE Is broke ( not a lot of weekend play money )

But I'm nervous as Hell!!

I'm afraid with him having this freedom

Because I usually do all the billing on Tuesdays it's when I'm off. But his money his on Friday

I think I'm going to put all the bills on his phone calendar and hopes he looks at it and deduct that and consider ( groceries, gas, ect ect) before spending..

How do you ladies handle finances

Or does your man do the budgeting/ Bill paying
