My son was born 6 weeks early and stayed in the NICU for 2 weeks. While he was there I was pumping and bringing my milk everyday, and I got about 3 ounces every 3 hours. Now that he's been home for a week I have been nursing him. He won't nurse for long and then I put him down and he wakes up. So I've been pumping and giving him bottles. Well now my supply is almost completely non existent. I'll pump for 30 mins every two hours and I won't even get an ounce. I'm taking fenugreek and tried mothers milk tea and neither seem to be helping. I'm extremely pissed at my body for failing me and I'm about ready to give up. I really wanted to be able to breastfeed but I don't know what else to do besides trying to power pump. But it seems pointless. 😓
