I think it depends on the age of the people involved. If your parents met when you and the other individual were in your mid to late teens or adulthood, no big deal. If your parents met young and you were raised together, that is bizarre, taboo and inappropriate - but not on the same level as incest. In-laws seem like a tangled mess.

My ex boyfriend of 3 years was my cousins cousin. So what happened was his uncle married my aunt. There's no blood or any form of relation between us but after I found out I was a little creeped out. We broke up because he's an asshole and a half we are still good friends though 😂
