HELP! Boyfriend Troubles

So my boyfriend is studying for his drivers test that has failed 3 times... I haven't talked to him in about a week because I've been busy at school and working late nights (student athletic trainer) and I asked if I could help him, and he said no, then I tried to convince him some more and he told me to Fuck off and said he was shutting his phone off... Is he overreacting or am I?
