HELP MY CURLS?!

Okay I have naturally curly hair...for the first time in my life I'm trying to embrace my curls and basically treat them like the blessing they are....but I'm the only one I know with naturally curly hair... I have no clue how to take care of it properly? I'm desperate for any advice you can spare...what kind of haircuts should I get? How often should I wash it? What kind of products can I get for it that aren't too expensive...anything? Please help?

Never brush your hair or even comb it. To start off I went from brushes to combs to make the transition easier but you should aim to just doing it with fingers. Don't use shampoo, parabens and sulfates are curl enemies. Plus curls love moisture so it shouldn't really get oily. Conditioner is your best friend. Leave in conditioner is a life saver. Deep condition once a week. And finally, BE PATIENT!

I have naturally curly hair too im puerto rican so I have alot of it too......I use deva curl products and I love them they smell good and a little bit goes a long way.  But as far as washing is concerned i normally wash mine once a week and mine gets kinda dry too so it can never hurt to put a little hair oil on your curls to keep them hydrated lol.

I have naturally very curly hair as well ... I would only wash it ever other day to keep it from drying out and try putting almond or coconut oil in it once or twice a week,u should leave it in for at least an hour or let it in over night and wash the oil out in the shower the next morning ... If ur thinking about getting a hair cut don't get it very short it will make it very puffy like an Afro but different lol keep it to the longer side , hope this helps 😊

I use a hair mask once a week. It really helps getting rid of snarls. The one I use is from neutrogena. Hope this helps :)

My hair is naturally extremely curly. I've found that using shampoo and conditioner that has Keratin in it helps a lot with the frizziness that curls sometimes have. I also use "Its a 10" leave-in. It detangles, takes out the frizz, and makes my curls more shapely. I find it best to leave it wet and never ever blow dry unless you plan on straightening it.

In the past I've also used Tre-Semme mouse, which always kept my curls under control but sometimes made my hair a little oily. That might just be my hair though, because it's prone to becoming a little oily sometimes, so that might be worth a try for you.

Watch CurlyPenny on youtube, she helped me a lot honestly. I have quite curly hair but I never liked it when I was younger so I killed it by using the straightener for 2 years everyday, multiple times a day. Now it's almost straight naturally and I'm trying to give it its original shape again.
First off, get rid of shampoos that contain sulphates and any other hair care products that contain silicones. Sulphates dry out your hair and get rid of all the moisture and natural oils in your hair. Silicones are acting like a barrier between your hair and moisture, they don't let any moisture to get in your hair and they can be removed just by using sulphates so it's like a baaaad circle for your hair.
Scrunch your hair after you wash it and don't towel dry as it causes frizz. Use a tshirt instead. There are tons of DIY's treatments and styling products that you can make, I seriously recommend CurlyPenny to everyone who has curly hair, her videos are incredibly helpful.

Go to curl centric. It's a website personally made by a couple who takes their time to help naturals with their hair .

For me I wash my hair once every 3 weeks after protective styles ( which helps your grow and maintain the length.

I would say stay away for heat . Flat iron, blow dryer are your number one enemies . You can use them about once a year . Just don't use them everyday.

You have to shampoo and condition your hair or your hair is going to be frizzy and gross all day. Sometimes even tho you shampoo and condition your hair will be frizzy but I just add water to mine lol
