What type of material do you prefer for inserts?

I can't decide which inserts to buy. I plan on buying a few to see which ones work best for us, but wanted some suggestions from you ladies!!

It's different for everyone.

Microfiber is fast absorbing but prone to compression leaks, so I don't like those. Plus, these are the only inserts that cannot be placed directly against baby's bum or the material will wick all the moisture from baby's bum causing a dry rough spot/rash.

Bamboo is more absorbing than microfiber, is not as prone to compression leaks, but less absorbing than hemp. I prefer bamboo as a single in all my diapers.

Hemp is slow absorbing, but more absorbing than microfiber and bamboo. I prefer using hemp in my nighttime diapers.

Cotton is similar to hemp as it's slow absorbing but absorbs more than microfiber and bamboo. However, hemp holds more than an equally sized cotton insert.

My LO is a heavy wetter though so just a single hemp insert will not cut it. For my nighttime diapers I typically use Grovia ONE diapers, but if those are all dirty I will pair a bamboo insert, a zorb insert, and then a hemp insert underneeth.

Zorb contains only tangled cellulose fibers from bamboo/cotton/viscose and poly micro fiber, the same fibers found in virtually every AIO diaper on the market – nothing else. Zorb is slightly more absorbing than hemp, but faster absorbing whicy is why I place a hemp insert under zorb.
