Implantation Bleeding
My hubby and I had unprotected sex on our wedding night a couple of weeks ago. My period was due on the weekend and didn't come. I took an early stage pregnancy test and it was positive 1-2 weeks. Before taking the test, I have had cramping and tender breasts, super huge appetite yet no energy, so I believe I could very possibly be pregnant, plus the timeframe fits.
Last night I had very light spotting. I thought my period was coming and it was a false positive on the test, but there is no bleeding today. Usually my period comes suddenly and is quite heavy in the first 24 hours.
I have heard of women who have bleeding in first trimester of pregnancy, but most women don't know so early that they are pregnant. Is this a real thing? What is implantation bleeding and when does it occur? I feel pregnant, but could that be false hope? When should I go to the doctors?
