I just went to my first doc appt (9w4d) and she said I would have an ultrasound at 19  weeks but they generally didn't do anything before then unless the pregnancy seems high risk. I'm 36 (apparently not considered Old here), first pregnancy, and so far nothing out of the ordinary has happened. I live in Norway so I'm thinking maybe it's just a different approach to prenatal care?
