How Do You Fix a Clog?

Tried heat, massage, wash cloth... Need help unclogging my right breast. Nothing has helped thus far. 😔 Suggestions?

Just got over mastitis and it was the worst thing I've ever been through. Lots of nursing, rest & patience. If baby wasn't latched I was pumping/hand expressing. I would also soak breast pads in really hot water (what I could tolerate) and would apply those before he nursed. I didn't wear a bra or anything restricting during this time...and I also used gravity while he ate. (He'd be on a flat surface and i would be directly over him, for at least one let down) switch up the way you hold baby, too. Cross hold/football etc ...that way baby is working different areas and has a better chance of emptying the breast. If you start feeling like you have the flu call your ob/midwife. Even if it's the middle of the night. Get antibiotics quick! Good luck.
