sex after vaginal delivery?

Hey ladies, how long did you guys wait to have sex? Months? Weeks? Days? I'm a week and 5 days postpartum and I had vaginal delivery.

Without dr.'s approving me after my 1st son I wait 6 days. He was a c-section and my husband was deploying soon. I didn't want to waist any time lol, but I ended up pregnant again. My boys are 10 months apart. My husband landed for R&R and 15 hours later I VBACed our 2nd son. My husband only had 2 weeks of being home before he had to go back. So, I only waited 3 days that time, but no 3rd baby that time. Almost 6 years later and we are waiting on number 3 who should be here within the next few days to weeks.

We waited a little over 4 weeks. I had a vaginal delivery no tearing and was not bleeding. The doc cleared me at 6 weeks. 😉

Ask your doctor. Everyone is different. Go to early and it will hurt and just suck. Trust me when you do get around to it ,the wait will be well worth it. Hope your walls aren't too thin or neighbors living to close. 😉😉 👍

I tried at just over 4 weeks but didn't succeed. I ended up not healing properly & now I'm almost 10 weeks PP and have yet to have sex :( dying over here! Especially because I'm probably having a procedure and idk if I'll have stitches again and unable to have sex for yet another 6 weeks...

I was ready at 3 weeks 4 days, but my husband told me not until the doctor cleared me because he didn't want to tear anything (both lame and cute lol). I got cleared at my appointment at 4 weeks 4 days, but the doctor said to wait until Monday (it was Wednesday) so that my birth control would have time to work. Well... I made it to Friday, although we used other protection. It was fantastic. It's a little weird at first, especially where the stitches were, but it wasn't painful. We just eased into it, used lots of lube, and I started on top so that I had more control at first.
