fainting while pregnant?!

Hello I'm currently pregnant with my first baby. Earlier today I had fainted for about a minute & awoke with about 25 people surrounding me. Asking me if I needed help. anyways I'm wondering if any of you have experienced such a thing like this? Is it a medical emergency ; should I go to the ER?
