Hey ladies, I'm starting birth control soon and I'm very nervous about it because when I ask questions I always get mixed responses, so: once the pill takes effect, am I protected 100% of the time (even when I'm taking the placebos)? Also my period is very irregular, so should I continue to take the pills in order even if my period comes before or after its supposed to? For instance if the day I'm supposed to take the placebo if I don't get my period should I take it anyways or if my period comes while I'm taking the pills with medication in them should I just continue as normal?
